Every now and then Americans need to learn that freedom is not free.

We are about to learn that lesson again, good and hard this time, I fear.

Thank all of you who kept the faith. Keep it still, and close to your breast: you will need it.

Liberty is too precious and its champions too few to surrender its blessings for a handful of empty promises and worthless trinkets.

I'm going to sleep now. Tomorrow is really another day. A sad day, it's true, but I've had sadder.

I look forward to joining you all in the days ahead as we regroup and take the battlefield back from those who have temporarily seized it from us. We may be tested more severely than any of us would desire in the coming days and years, but I am not one to question God's will. As unpopular as it is in an age of irrational fear and sacrifice and dependency, I know that we can win the fight for Liberty.

Good night.

I will pray, mnehrling.

God does not always send us the path we choose. But he will send the path that is best, for whatever unknown reason.

Things will work out, I believe this.

I watched McCain’s concession speech. It was very humble. He is not a bad man. He was defeated with overwhelming odds.

It's all very simple - The GOP sold out on its Conservative principles that won in 1994. They overspent. They governed from center-left. They allowed the media to choose our candidate. They allowed too many RINO's to attain party seniority. The RNC has become spineless. The GOP has no ability to defend itself. We had a POTUS who refused to use the bully pulpit and squandered so much goodwill. We failed to sell our message and just as in 2006, we accepted blame for everything that went wrong, whether rightfully or not. So, we got what we deserved. Yes, I remain pissed off.

We have been significantly marginalized for the foreseeable future.

I can imagine the next 4 yrs WILL be this...”well I inherited a big mess from Bush and it’s much worse than I thought and it’s gonna take me 8 yrs to fix this mess”...

It’ll STILL ALL be Bush’s fault! Everything that happens, they’ll blame Bush or the rotten republicans

We just lost our country.

We now have two choices.

Submit.

Or resist.

I know what I must do.

Good luck, all.

Rubbish. In the challenges we faced in the past, this was still a GODLY and GOD FEARING country. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE.

Many who claim to 'believe' are redefining God and Scripture to align with their own personal desires, not God's. Morality has been tipped completely on its head.

Europe learned nothing from the World Wars and has fallen headlong into socialism. We are fast on their tail.

This was our last 'election.' I am looking for the soma kool-aid; I want to be just another mindless drone, unaware that I am witnessing the collapse of civilization.

I will never accept a guy who hung out with terrorists planning for the deaths of millions of Americans. This guy isn’t even eligible for a security clearance.

This is all media driven hype and emotionalism. Not buying this brand of kool aid.

WHERES OUR WELFARE CHECKS! WORST PRESIDENT EVER!

That’s what I’ll be calling every Democrat congress person and telling them.

Oh Kathy, it’s going to take Lord Barack at least 12-16 years to undo Bush’s mess! Silly girl!

The fact that I would pray for Obama does’t change my opinion that he is the wrong person for this position. But it is what it is. Anger really doesn’t move things forward.

You know, a lot of people sat at home in 2006 and sulked. We lost the Congress.

Maybe that happened for a reason. Maybe tonight happened for a reason.

Could be we need to get back to basics. I don’t know if we have been marginalized or not. Time will tell.

I do know a barrier has been broken..and the same barrier will not be as important in the future.

Get a good night's sleep. We have a lot of work to do starting tomorrow. Indeed. There is a lot of money to be "spread around", but that money has to first be earned by hard working people like us. We need to think of the deadbeat loser who sleeps till noon, wakes up, drinks a '40' while watching jerry springer, then takes a nap until oprah comes on. How is he going to pay his bills if we aren't generating the wealth to be confiscated and redistributed? God help us all through this doomed social experiment.

This is where our side gets duped. If we just work minimally for the next two years, staying in the lowest tax bracket you can, the Democrats won't be able to support the system as the revenue dries up. They can't force the producers to work - if they don't want to. Democrats will not be able to carry the load themselves and keep all these promises they have made.

You don’t think that God is bigger than Ayers, Marx, Lenin, and Obama? If you believe He is, then Pray! Saul was one who KILLED early Christians in the name of Rome, and God chose him to build his mission. Let’s pray that Change comes again, not as a marketing slogan, not as a feel good message, but as something that lasts.. Pray, pray, pray.. suicide is no option.

The alternative is to go out and slave away for the welfare giveaways, instead of just putting a run on the system and overloading it to collapse. Either the Marxist model performs as promised - or it doesn’t.

I say time to test it to the max.

Not a praying man, don’t know why you would automatically assume that. Its not a pre-requisite for being anti-Marxist.
