A human chain sound like an effective tactic. But, where do the hippies plan to get the humans from to form the chain?

All summer long there were a rash of reports of 10-year-olds around the country having their lemonade stands on private property shut down by law enforcers on the grounds they represented public health hazards.

This bunch has been allowed to wallow in their own filth in a public park for weeks, preparing and serving food, doing drugs, etc. with nary a remark from the NY Department of Health.

It would be great if the Tea Party groups in the areas where the Occupy protests are being held went in and cleaned up after them.

I smelled the place on Saturday when some of us were there taunting them.

No Tea Party member deserves to have to do that. ;-)

Until a couple weeks ago, 34-year-old Casey O’Neill worked as a data manager in Oakland, California. Now, he lives in a park next to ground zero.

CASEY O’NEILL: I actually quit my job and got a one-way ticket out here for the protests. I just felt like it was really - in a lot ways, this was the last hope for some sort of real change.

At each general assembly, demonstrators echo every word a speaker says, in lieu of loudspeakers. When the crowd likes what it hears, they raise their hands over their heads and wiggle their fingers, like jazz hands. To outsiders passing through, it can look a little strange. But everyone seems to have found a role for themselves, from the men who sweep up the park while riding their skateboards...
