It's not envy if all you want is for everyone to live a comfortable lifestyle.
So what is it when you want the comfortable lifestyle to come at the expense of someone else. Welfare leeches live better than I do and seem to have unlimited funds to do so.

A little something for the DUmmies to ponder.
We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living.
The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within its confines and be for the good of all.
Therefore, we demand:
an end to the power of the financial interests .
We demand profit sharing in big business.
We demand a broad extension of care for the aged.
We demand. . . the greatest possible consideration of small business in the purchases of the national, state, and municipal governments.
In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our system of public education. . . .
We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents. . . .
The government must undertake the improvement of public health by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor by the greatest possible support for all clubs concerned with the physical education of youth.
We combat the . . . materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of " The Common Good Before the Individual Good ."
The above are some of the planks of the National socialist (Nazi) Party of Germany, adopted in Munich on February 24, 1920:

Jealousy is both reasonable and belongs to reasonable men, while envy is base and belongs to the base, for the one makes himself get good things by jealousy, while the other does not allow his neighbour to have them through envy. ~Aristotle

Say, any amount of money over a certain limit would need to be invested in creating a company (jobs) or in donations to a cause of your choice. People do the first part all the time (at their discretion) by buying stock via --brace yourself, OWSie-- WALL STREET!...

Well, it really isn't, so much.
It's all about financing a home, car and college degree, and then making someone else pay for it.
It's about free stuff more than anything else.
I think they're too stupid to see past their own short sighted desires.
(oh, I forgot ... free health care and free sex too)

Why would I envy a money-hoarder...any more than I envy the old lady with the 137 cats, or the old fart who has 350 wrecked cars in his pasture? ROTF!
I see they have no problem with others hoarding all the I.Q.!

You know what? I make more than $6K a month. [ONE-PERCENTER! EVIL RICH PERSON! D*MN YOU! GET OFF THIS BOARD!!]
LOL. Even I don't make $6K per month and I don't complain.

I really don’t understand how these kids can live so blindly hyprocritical towards wealth as it applies to Hollywood big shots and their own very real and very expensive college tutions.

I doubt the majority of FReepers make more than $2,500 per month and many of us get by on considerably less.
