Good morning, Kathy. I see you found the thread…..Thanks so much for calling the warriors to it….our prayers may, in fact, have slowed the fire. It’s still not “contained,” but “slowed” is certainly a step in the right direction.
Used to live within a few miles of there. Had a five acre tract north and a bit east of Athol. My oldest son and his family live in Post Falls.
Beautiful country. With near-drought condition, we can only hope and pray it stays that way.

Tonight’s fire report: it is becoming contained, in spite of tinder dry conditions and steep inaccessible terrain, the lines are holding, fewer acres are burned than originally estimated…..who says prayer doesn’t work? I am truly flabbergasted and grateful to all who put this fire on their prayer lists.. God bless you.
