When people reach a certain age they don’t need to and really shouldn’t shower everyday.
Activity and glandular secretions are less after a certain age. It can really dry out the skin too.
Of course no two bodies are the same so some people may actually need to shower daily.
What do you think they did in the days before running water? Only the very rich could afford servants to bring water in by the bucket to heat up for baths.
Remember don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater? That was a real thing. Everyone used the same bucket of water to bathe out of.

Wonder, joy and glory, a brilliant way to screw the middle class in CA has just been discovered by the brilliant, hyper-wealthy socialists that run the state. They apply the personal water use rule equally to everybody, but the wealthy can still fill their swimming pools and, gee, a bit of that fill water just might creep over into their residences and miss the “smart” meters.

Sometimes I Shower two times a day.
Hopefully the Authorities will show me mercy and not shoot my Dog when they come to Arrest me.
I’ve had a well of my own since 1993. I am, however, glad I grew up in The Big City with fluoridated water.

Reminds me of an old high school story when one of my female class mates decided to take a nude sun bath under a sun lamp, fell asleep, and ended with severe burns covering her whole body.
but more than 40 of the state’s water supply goes to ‘preserve’ fish and it doesn’t work. get rid of the moonbeam mentality of governance and maybe the state can get somewhere other than continuous drought (bullshit), homeless everywhere, illegal aliens, everywhere, drugs everywhere, etc everywhere. Wake up California and look where your stupid democratic party has taken you
so invite a friend/neighbor over to take a shower together and while you are at it wash clothes in the shower. Spin cycle would be difficult but maybe the fun would be worth it.
Why not enact that Draconian Law right now? Why wait 4 years when you're long gone and out of office Jerrah? Hmmm? Damned Skunk!
