You can bet that if Fauci was a conservative he’d be behind bars by now awaiting trial.
We haven’t had a proper functioning DOJ in going on 14 years now.
Congress can only investigate, produce a report which leads to a referral for prosecution by the DOJ. Congress cannot prosecute that an executive department function.

That goes for many democratic states too. State’s attorneys not prosecuting, or letting out criminals with low bond.

Once Trump is restored in 2025 (or sooner!) there should be LOTS of investigations— and ARRESTS.
Since they won’t be able to pass a line of legislation, they might as well investigate everyone and everything. Make the Biden administration live hard.
