Several young people I know are worried about the draft.
Its pretty dumb thinking letting Russia and China do whatever they want is a guarantee that you’ll never have to fight them again.

And yeah, I know a couple younger people that are saying the same thing. Ridiculous at this point, but they are tracking the logic. Russia invades, China backs them; China invades Taiwan, SHTF.
Historically, Ukraine has always been part of Russia. Russia wants their land back.

Russia never tried to fire me for not getting an unnecessary vaccine. The biggest threat to my life and freedoms come from my own government not Putin. I’m willing to let every democrat go Ukraine and fight the Russians
We don’t know what Putin and Xi have for their ultimate goals.
I wish these people would stop embarrasing themselves. Not everything is a conspiracy.
I’ve noticed Russia doesn’t seem to have a problem with open borders and illegal criminal immigrants pouring in by the millions?

I’d don’t really care either. If it was my way I’d let the outside world hash out its own problems but unfortunately the world doesn’t work that way. Lets see how ‘mind our own business’ you are once Russia or china cuts off a strategic resource halfway across the world and suddenly you can’t buy a car or food prices triple. It doesn’t have to be stupidly intervening in every tinpot conflict or even anything major. Its just being smart and doing the little things so you don’t have to do the big things. Like not bungling the Afghan situation so badly Russia saw an opening with a weak President. We’re in this situation right now because someone saw fit to kick the can down the road several years before and it will grow even worse if we choose to kick the can again.
It is not about fighting for Ukraine. It is about resisting aggression. The only thing a bully understands is a good punch in the nose.
