Makes you wonder why Williamson ran unopposed. He’s obviously in on the scheme....he is one of the worst. You see and talk to him and you’ll see the textbook example of the guy that will sit next to you at breakfast, at the Pot Luck Cafe, tell you about how he’s going to lower taxes and do all sorts of great things for the area....then stab absolutely everyone in the place, in the back as he sells them all out.

Apparently, there’s a Facebook page, Friends of Rivian. The guy who put it up lives in Johns Creek. I was told that of the 200 or so folks on the page, most are not from Georgia. He talks about the great things coming when, not just 7500 jobs at the plant come, but an additional 7500 show up from peripheral activities. Doubling the size of the local farming community that will destroy the place.
7500 jobs....hmmmmmm...in an industry that is dominated by robots and automation, Rivian will have 7500 folks working to build vehicles that no one buys. I guess the geniuses at Rivian are reverting back to the policies and methods that forced the Big 3 to cut their work forces to the bone, buy robots and send the manufacturing processes to Mexico and Canada.
Walmart is closing locations and the retrofit will be to accommodate more stock, since they will have less stores.
Plus they are changing their business The first reason is that the retailer is changing its business model to become more attractive to online shoppers. More customers are shopping online than ever before, which explains why the company is shifting its focus towards the digital realm.
Let’s hope the have more cashiers for the remaining locations.
#36 I had a guy who on his first day as supervisor of the west coast Help Desk stand up and announced who he wanted to fire. Pretty much everyone in other depts (he had no control over) and the east coast Help Desk and silently everyone in his dept. Every single day he complained and complained and threaten firings. We had several quit for other jobs or go back to school then listen to that guy. He and the manager were a pair of....
Less then 2 years later he and the manager were gone.
Some people cannot run things so they fire people or cause them to quit like we see various democrat politicians do.
