Once Durham has put together the program of actors, he can then tell the story of conspiracy.
He's not there yet, but he got one big step closer.

I thought the charge of giving false information to the FBI was not about the Alfa Bank per se, but about Sussmann claiming that he was acting alone and not providing legal services to the Clinton campaign.If your statement that "Major theme of DeFilippis cross is that Mook delegated work to Marc Elias and others..." is true, then that's enough to prove that Elias and Sussmann were providing services to the Clinton campaign.
Once the direct working relationship between Elias, Sussmann, Perkins Coie, and FusionGPS is proven, then that implicates the Clinton campaign as being a part of the larger conspiracy to spread the Russia collusion hoax that includes the fake dossier, the perjured FISA warrants, and the illegal spying on Trump campaign staffers.
I think that's what Durham is trying to prove here, the link between Sussmann and the Clinton campaign, so that he can then use that link to dig into what the Clinton campaign's involvement actually was, and how Obama's FBI became so compliant toward the Clinton campaign objectives.

If Durham wins, he gains the connection of the Clinton campaign to Sussman's scheme, since lying about not working for Clinton will have been proven to be false.Once Sussman is convicted about lying about not working for Clinton, then the rest of the evidence between Sussmann, Perkins-Coie, Marc Elias, the DNC, and the Clinton campaign become relevant.
I'm sure the DC jury will know this and try to nullify the verdict to prevent Clinton from being connected to Sussmann's scheme.
We all know that Durham lost his case against Sussmann; the DC jury refused to convict, as I suspected it would. Still, the incriminating testimony was given under oath and penalty of perjury, and is still relevant.
I think the point that Durham was trying to make with the Clinton tweet was that the tweet proves that she had knowledge of the materials that Sussman, Elias, FusionGPS, and Perkins Coie were manufacturing.Clinton knowing about the hoax materials would be proof that Sussman was engaged in work for the Clinton campaign, which would prove the lie that Sussman wasn't doing work "for any client."
Durham was intending to juxtapose this with the attempts by Elias and Perkins Coie to have their documents client-attorney excluded as protected work product. That would only be possible if they were working on behalf of a client. Marc Elias was already trapped into that argument and tried to backpedal his prior comments about providing legal services for a client.

The author said Durham lost because he tried to pretend that the FBI was a victim, that the FBI was duped by Sussmann, when, in fact, the FBI was a co-conspirator.
