Same as before. They will pump him up with drugs. However, this time it is going to take a lot more drugs and I suspect they will have to shorten the speech because the drugs aren’t able to do enough to keep him coherent for more than just a few minutes. Maybe they will create a crisis at the last minute so that his speech has to be postponed. They can then say scheduling problems prevent a new date from being found -— he is such a busy man you know.

Further, I realize this is complicated, even though Trump dodged the draft, he had feelings about those who served. Long before he switched to the Republican Party and ran for President, he largely financed the Vietnam War Memorial in lower Manhattan.

I also think this is why Trump is as opposed to war as he is. Biden is opposed to war, but without appreciation that we must defend out country (similar thing regarding crime). Trump is a “peace through strength” guy. I cannot imagine that Putin would have invaded Ukraine had Trump been re-elected. It is a complicated thing to hate war and yet be ready to fight and win.

It should not be forgotten that Biden received FIVE draft deferments as a student at University of Delaware (undergraduate) and Syracuse University (as a law student).

1. NO, non-SEAL can command a SEAL Team. DeSantis was a JAG assigned to advise a Joint SpecOps Task Force Commander who was a SEAL Captain.
2. DeSantis was assigned to a Joint Command that deployed in 2007. As an Officer the Bronze Star was a given as long as he finished his tour successfully. By all accounts he did a good job advising the Spec Ops teams on the rules of engagement. Without a “V” a Bronze Star was just an Officers end of tour award in a combat zone. A Commendation Medal falls below a Bronze Star, but with a “V” a Commendation Award is far more impressive than a Bronze Star. In one case, early in the War, some Marines and Navy Officers attached to a Joint Command received Bronze Stars from an Army Commander at the end of their tour. The MEF CG downgraded the awards because the standards for issuing the award in the Navy were stricter at that time.
3. Crenshaw was the real deal, does not make him less of a self-centered RINO.
4. As a POW and a pilot in combat McCain definitely earned his awards, did not make him any less of a a$$hole towards veterans.
5. Donald Trump's and in fairness Biden's deferments do not matter. Only 1% of our citizens ever serve in the military.
6. Being a Vet does not give anyone a pass from criticism especially if you chose to be a politician.

7. We served our country and its citizens. Citizens who protected our benefits after the first Gulf War and into the Global War on Terror. Citizens pay the bills, you have a right to legitimately criticize vets and the military. The Feds and McCain wanted to cut our benefits but feared the outrage from voters during a war. McCain's proposal would have cut our benefits nearly in half. Nobody wanted to touch that during the war.

Trump is a citizen, he has the same free speech rights as any other citizen and can call an a$$hole an a$$hole if he do desires. Biden regurgitated a lie SUPPOSEDLY Trump just got hit with $83 million lawsuit for the same thing.
