I am rather surprised at the number of young people (late teens/20s) who smoke cigarettes. I would estimate 15 to 20% of them seem to be smokers.

Wasn't that huge [hugh! even] tobacco settlement in the mid 1990s supposed to provide funds to educate yutes of the evils of smoking?

I recall Keith Richards and Ron Wood smoking on stage at Madison Square Garden after being told that MSG was now a non-smoking venue. They were in the Stones. They didn't care.

More American smokers should've followed their lead in non-compliance.

FWIW, I quit smoking cigarettes 3 months ago after smoking for 55 years; it was time, COPD makes breathing difficult. My own fault, I know.

I stopped drinking two years ago. Now my friends don't like to visit because they say I'm boring.
