Sheil Jackson Lee reiterates that Obama’s mission to the sun will also verify if the flag we left there in the Apollo landings is still standing.

You dont have to be a chemist or even a scientist to know the vaporization temperature of iron and its compounds and the temperature of the photosphere.Ah, but the majority of chemsits and scientists are in on the conspiracy. A conspiracy so large, and so evil, it will stop at nothing to quash dissenting opinion.
Either that, or the main proponent of this bizarre "theory" isn't right in the head in more ways than one.
Ah well, at least he ain't Ward Churchill.

I enjoy a dash of sarcasm like I enjoy hot pepper sauce, too much overcomes the purpose and too little isn’t worth the effort but I think you got about right.
“Ah well, at least he ain’t Ward Churchill.”
The conspiracy was so vast even his children were in on it.

Note to self: Rape and sodomy against his own kids? Just makes Doc Manuel an all around loser. After looking at his picture I have s sudden desire to disinfect the monitor. Yikes!!!

They identified Calcium Ferrite, not pure iron. I would guess this has more of a ceramic property than metallic.
I do not know how these elements and compounds will behave in the Sun because we cant replicate the environments they are operating in.
My main point is new technology has alluded that the Sun is probably more complicated than the Hydrogen/Helium gas ball model that science has used for so many years.
I take it you still buy into the classic Hydrogen/Helium gas ball model for the Sun?

Everything is more complicated than it's model, that's the reason for models, to make the complicated easier to understand by simplification.
The composition of the sun is about 98% hydrogen and helium by mass and less than 1% iron.
Actually it's not considered a gas but rather plasma which is not too difficult to produce. And most importantly for the discussion it exists at a temperature that no solids can exist, not ceramics or iron or any combination thereof. That being the case I don't have to buy into anything to reject out of hand notions of a solid “rigid” surface sun. The latest and best technology doesn't support such an idea either despite the fact that much remains unknown about the sun and despite the claims of Manuel and the web page that parrots him.
