“My wild azz guess: the oceans will stay right at sea level for at least the next 1000 years maybe longer.”
The only possible way for the oceans to remain at sea level, is to make sure they are kept at room temperature.
What do you suppose this means?
[”The real unknown right now is what we call the dynamic effect of ice not melting but just being pushed straight into the ocean,” Pfeffer added, referring to pieces of ice breaking off from huge masses of ice such as glaciers and ice sheets and floating in the sea.]
Do they anticipate a ‘tsunami’ effect; dropping an ice cube in a bowl; what?!?
I’m beginning to think it means nobody cleans the collectors.
My rain gauge is so old it has a crust buildup amounting to almost a tenth of an inch.
Perhaps they think that the entire Antarctic and Greenland ice packs are going to just slide off into the ocean. You know, like all the snow and ice in North America just slide off into the ocean every Spring.
