A friend of mine was going, so I'll have to e-mail her to find out how it went.
Ha! My sister is a former Detective; she’d love that!
As in how could Miles be there twice? Wasn't that part of the significance of Charlotte dying and not making that last jump?
hmmmm? and...
Is Caesar's last name "Alvarez?"
Am I correct that we've got two more weeks? Or izzit three?
I don’t know how I missed this... pretty much my favorite Jimmy Buffet song... with nice jumbotron video:

Yah, Jimmy’s a big lib... but this was nicely done.
Our tea party had about four hundred-ish people. Great turnout for a city our size with no publicity. Very grass roots, no big names, just a local band, some local speakers, and the local patriotic t-shirt company with a booth in one corner. All the signs were done by hand and had lots of different messages but the one that was clear was how annoyed people are.
Also I enjoyed how nice and civilized our protests and rallies are compared to the yeswecan types.
I’ve seen estimates for Richmond anywhere from 2,000 to 5,000. Based on what the police say that park can hold, I’d hazard a guess of about 2,500.
Pretty major for a city that doesn’t support ANYTHING. We’ve lost our major Broadway series, our baseball team, our hockey team and have a string of failed “revitalization” projects.
You still have a raceway...
True. Although if the races involved coming downtown, I suspect we wouldn’t have that for long.
That’s a good crowd! I enjoyed ours, it felt like something out of “The Music Man” or something. Turnout in this area is a lot lower than the peoples’ sympathies, I think, because there is such a high military population here and they really can’t come out for anti-government protests. We did have some nice flybys of C130s coming in low over the water to land at the air field.
ecurbh’n I have been waiting as long as we’ve been together for him to tour close enough to go see him. He is a terrific show.
Maybe this time I won’t get decked across the face at the end. :)
Heh. Yeah, that’d be better. :-)
And you may be right on Cesar. When Miles said "Alvarez," I knew I'd just heard the name...couldn't remember where.
And man, we have a lot of groups now. There's Ben, the Others (who aren't necessarily one and the same as Ben), Charles Widmore and all his folks, the statue people, the Oceanic gang, and Penny and Desmond, who are really just looking out for one another (and bless 'em for that...)
I finally got caught up this morning...
I faded last night. There was no fighting it. :~)
Time to clean out the shed.
I may post pictures.
Some friends of ours rented a house out on Lincoln St. and someone said he used to live there, because he described living in a place with an large American Flag painted on the wall, and it was there, when our friends moved in. There was a bunch of stuff left in the old garage, and we took a tall metal stool; still have it! Who knows, he could have sat on it to play his guitar! I've never seen him in concert.
His sister, LuLu owns a great restaurant down in Gulf Shores, AL, right on the Intercoastal waterway. Delicious burgers, and live bands on the weekends, but in the summer, you have at least an hour's wait before you can be seated.
one of the hardest partying frats on campus. He graduated a couple of years before I entered the school.
I don't suppose anyone is surprised by that. :-)
We used to be proud of the "fact" that Buffett had once been a Coastie, and had been drummed out for smokin' da reefer. Turns out... not so. He wasn't in the military. But it was a fun story for a while. :-)
The shed is 3/4 done. I forgot to take pictures.
Heh, babies make the rules in the delivery room. I’m just sayin...;o)
