HAARP? ChemTrails?
Bovine emissions?
That would seem to be significant shrinkage, better check the calibration on that satellite.

I seem to recall some Russian guy saying how there are regions of increased energy in the Universe and our entire solar system passes through them at times. I believe he says (or perhaps the data proves) that we are passing through one of these Universal Energy Zones (or whatever they call them) now. So not just the Suns energy perhaps. Increased energy would lead to increased heating which would raise the height of the atmosphere/space boundary, not lower it.

there are regions of increased energy in the Universe and our entire solar system passes through them at times This is New Age bull. Neither Art Bell nor George Noory buys into this, although they facilitate callers who talk this way for the sake of ratings, cross-country truck drivers who need cheap entertainment, and night watchmen who need their imagination stimulated before they take the six-cell flashlights out on rounds again.

Prepare for a serious "minimum" or maybe even the return of the North American Ice Sheet. I would expect the return of the Deccan Ice Shield since it's their turn.

a satellite is launched and 9 months late it discovers that the atmosphere boundary layer is lowest it has ever been in history? That is some satellite!!!Maybe the other measurements were wrong, or this satellite has a faulty sensor? The big question is, if outer space is closer, will this lower launch costs?

Windmills is causing this. I bet the energy being taken out of our atmosphere by the conversion of wind energy to electric power is causing the volume of air to shrink.
Actually I just pulled that out of my rear end but sounds as realistic as global warming.
