The guy I saw would just cut the tree off at the base, let it fall and move on to the next one in about 10 seconds. I was parked in my car watching at about 200 feet away in awe. Made a lot of firewood real fast.
What will he do in his 2nd term?
I'd agree with a technique of loping the top and then dropping the log. Cottonwoods grow to a good size, don't think I want to drop one of those on my head.

And the bestest, most wonderfulest thing of all is, no matter WHAT Obama does, it’s gonna work, and in four years the Earth will indeed have survived...
This week, Ill just bounce around the oldies stations and sing along, trying to forget the destruction taking place to our once great Country.
Just try imagining that the trees are Democrat voters... that might make it a bit more fun... /g
Also, when America finally descends to the point that football no longer satisfies the masses, you might be able to use these in a new version of gladiatorial combat in the arena. Now that would really be an "extreme sport"... /vbg

Will he get a second term, or will the Islamic terrorists assassinate him for being an apostate Moslem before he finishes his first term?
Rush will have to put a new 4 year count down on his page...heck, maybe he should just have a link to a new page with all the countdowns on it.
;-)
