Yes, Obama could mandate that all senior citizen housing and nursing homes be situated on earthquake faults and high-risk coastal areas thus negating the need for mandatory meetings every five years for senior citizens where they’ll be asked to do everyone a favor and kill themselves.

Anybody got any idea where I might find some information regarding the predicted propagation of a Tsunami into Puget Sound?

I did a search on "tsunami puget sound" and got a bunch of hits.

Yah... I did too. Seems most of the studies seem to focus on propagation of a tsunami resulting from an quake on the Seattle fault, not so much a tsunami coming in from the sea. But the propagation patterns are interesting, and probably are a useful analog for how the waves will move around the sound.

What with quakes, tsunami’s and volcanoes . . . the beautiful Pacific NW could be in for some . . . interesting times . . . as the Chinese say.

Wrong! America always used the term tidal wave, which is not an accurate description of what we now know is actually happening. The ‘hate America’ crowd decided to use the Japanese term tsunami as an alternative. However, the term tsunami means harbor wave, which in my estimation is even more inaccurate that tidal wave.

Exactly! Because we now know that the term tidal wave does not accurately describe the event. So the hate America crowd decided to not use our term but use the Japanese term. Unfortunately the term tsunami means harbor wave, which is even more inaccurate than tidal wave. I am just pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of our ‘scientific’ community.
