I agree with what you are saying about the weather stations, but people argue that the data is corrected. So I asked, what is another explanation?

The data is often “corrected” by people with an agenda. Whether or not any conclusions can be drawn depends on the raw data set and what is known about the “corrections” that have been made. I have no background to comment knowledgably on whether planetary gravitational phenomena have any effect on solar activity. It certainly appears to be something worth looking into.

I want to thank you for your post. It was very thought provoking and brought up factors that I had never heard of previously. It was a reminder that the ecosystem is so complex that even if there were a true consensus that increasing levels of anthropogenic produced CO2 were causing irreversible harmful effects on the planet, other unconsidered phenomena could still be major players. I applaud you for looking outside of the normally considered realm in this case.
