Has a ring to it.

If we find oil on other planets, our oil could still be mostly dino goo.

Weren’t we supposed to run out 20 years ago?

Oil Doomsday was 2000ish when I had a geology class in college.

One of the homework assignments was fascinating. It had to do with determining the difference between economic and sub-economic (unprofitable) sources of oil.

Executive summary: We're not even close to running out of oil, whether it's a renewable resource or not.

Lib and enviro-tard insiders admitted years ago that we weren't running out of oil, quietly of course. That's where the global warming (followed by climate change) came from.

I think you're right.

As prices increase, there is also an increase in newly economic sources of oil. Of course, the idea that oil is a renewable resource is also not a new one. I first read that maybe a decade ago and I am NOT a geologist, just a reading addict.

the other main fossil fuel, coal, seems reasonably well documented.

So what? That has about as much relevance to oil as the scene in Kentucky Fried Movie where they are extracting oil from teenager's acne.
