My house is only 2 miles north of Offutt. I didn’t feel a quake and some of the past quakes, even the one in Mexico a dozen or so years ago rattled the windows. I did hear a low rumbling sound at about that time but I assumed that it was a snow plow on the street behind our circle.

Oh but we do get and feel earthquakes here. There was a quake centered somewhere around Falls City a few years back that was easily felt as well as one around Auburn. Part of the Humbolt fault runs through this area.

No, MY Senator is John Thune. We are next door to Nebraska. I won't mention who my other, recovering from a "congential vascualr defect in the brain" but fully functional, (they just can't say "stroke" or "intracranial bleed) Senator is; I try not to mention his name.
