The people living on Penang had part of the Indonesian tsunami hit their beaches even though they weren't in a direct line from the point source. We know a guy who stood on his porch watching it come in (he lived up a hill. Some people died there.)
The Western Mediterranean will be WRACKED with tsunami waves for hours, and that will include Spain, France, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and possibly even Egypt ~ just like Penang got hit.

I knew looking at the topic someone would take that tack. Media sensationalism aside, it’s happened before and will happen again. The Mediterranean Ring of Fire has many active volcanoes, and periodically they blow up big.
Look up what happened to the Minoans. The same tsunamis hit half the Med’s shores hard.
It’s like the Yellowstone situation. You know it will happen one day. You just don’t know precisely when.

Just think what a small tactical nuke could do for the new coastline of central Italy. Costa Del Lex. Luthorville. Marina del Lex. Otisburg. OTISBURG????
in the meantime, yellowstone is overdue to erupt, yawn.
Probably not. Just remember this is from the “If it bleeds, it leads” media. If they had 4 scientists saying :”It’s dead, Jim.” and one saying “It could blow tomorrow!” guess who gets quoted.

I didn't realize Bush was responsible for the underwater volcanoes too.
