Consider ... those earlier bubbles did not come to pass [npi] as the result of drilling, the premature release might just mitigate the world-killing scope of the next release, and shouldn’t we be finding the cosmic bean-o to circum-vent [npix2] the next evolution of the killer erf phart?
Amazing, isn’t it? The Earth is billions of years old and yet those of us living in this particular wink of an eye are, or will be, privy to such things as global warming never such as we’ve never seen and now a planetary mass extinction due to methane for only the third time in a billion years.
I think some of these end-of-world types think a little too highly of themselves.

Actually, the predictor of the Dow breaking 1000, Robert Prechter, really predicts the Dow will break the 1929 high, 381.17. He just publicly sticks to 1000 so as to sound semi-reasonable.
Then there is financial astrologer Arch Crawford, who says the most negative alignment of planets in human history is coming on August 1, 2010. He call it the cardinal climax.
On the bright side, once humanity gets through this period of negativity, it should be smooth sailing into the 22nd century and beyond. The worst should be over by 2016. Excelsior.
