Ok, but the real question is: how does this affect the 2012 Mayan Calendar end of the world prediction?!?!
Inquiring minds need to know!!!!!!
Sweet,
that means it will have shortened obama’s time in our white house!
Before we look at 2012, there is a prediction by a Harold Camping that the world will end on May 21, 2011.
See here :

That’s barely 1 1/2 months from now.
Please ping this thread on May 22, 2011
I will if it doesn’t happen :)
Darn those japanese!
They always find a way to change our lives!
How much energy is required to move the earth by that tiny amount? I would posit that it is more energy than has been release by man in the entire history of man.
Hmmm....I think I have heard something like this in the past....
And to think, if we were still under Levitical Law, Harold Camping would have already had two appointments with many many thrown stones in an open field somewhere...
Of course, Hal Lindsey and few other modern day guessers would have been up for the same sort of apppointments.
Hot or cold?
“How much energy is required to move the earth by that tiny amount? I would posit that it is more energy than has been release by man in the entire history of man.”
Yup. Don’t want to chew through the math here, but the energy needed to do that was about 10,000,000 times the energy that would be released by every nuke on earth going off. And all that energy was released at once in one place.
We’re ants compared to the forces involved.
The world already ended back in the 13th century.
I knew I put my keys on the table. So that’s how they ended up on the floor.
With the Lord, 1.26 millionths of a second is as 1.26 seconds.
Or something like that.
Just a second....
Nothing a couple of well placed wheel weights won’t cure.
“Still, according to Rapture doctrine, most people will barely notice that Judgment Day has gone by. That’s because May 21 is, according to Camping, the day when only the righteous will be saved and taken to heaven.”
Yeah, that’s all I need to know to see that Camping needs to study the Bible a lot more.
