Much of the evidence of human civs before 12,000 BC could be laying under the mud and sediment of river deltas that are now hundreds of feet under ocean waters.

Or buried beneath the boulder pavement or outwash plains of the last glaciation...

Think the equivalent of the New River Gorge in West Virginia... Areas barely out of the water now were like the badlands terrain along the Little Missouri River today.

Here is a modern brass drill that uses corundum as a cutting agent. They are used in glass shops everywhere to cut round holes in glass.

They need to change the name of the History channel.

All they do is put forward the notion that aliens did everything here on earth that cannot be explained in other ways and produce disaster documentary’s.

Oh I forgot the “reality “ shows like pawn brokers and pickers that”discover” bargains. As if the guy at the pawn shop doesn’t pick and choose who goes on his show and then look up the facts on his purchases.

The Pickers have agents to go around theplaces they pick a month in advance to check them out. And the Repo guys is all staged. Reality my butt.

as an unabashed YEC, i see no issues with this nor do i find it fascinating. God gave man astounding abilities and a brilliant mind to create with.

after the great flood and the dispersal at the tower of babel, the knowledge was fragmented and as such, men became less and less able to communicate this knowledge and abilities to the next generations......so it made the secularists out there able to paint the ‘prehistoric’ folks as dumb and stupid, etc...so then things like this appear to be anomalies.....but they are not, for those of us who believe in what god’s word says....

Funny, isn’t it, that they always discover those gems right before the commercials!

Many year’s ago when I was just a kid, I would get my rearend adjusted just for bringing something like this up.
I have always read The Bible with an open mind. The first few books tells us all of this, That giants men of renown walked the Earth, I always read this to mean giants of mind capable of doing unbelievable things. The Son’s of God Looked upon The Daughter’s of men and found them comely and had children by them. Can we even imagine what these people were capable of? It even tells us what happened all trace of them was wiped out destroyed.
No I am not A Bible thumper neither do I go to church it just amazes me that I read about all of this over 50 yrs ago in a book that has been around for thousands of years.

Definitely a boatload. If everybody were making a fortune buying storage units , there would be hundreds of people buying them. It’s great for the storage unit auctioneers though.

Its’ all a bunch of crap.

here’s another article

‘The builders in ancient Egypt shaped many kinds of stone with consummate mastery. They were adept with the use of a variety of tools for manufacturing housewares, building stone and statuary; tube drills, straight saws, circular saws, lathes, and polishers. The marks left in the stone by these tools are the only available reliable source of information about these tools and how they were used. To date, no surviving examples of the actual tools used have been found. Neither have any written or pictorial records come to light which mention or describe their use.’

http://www.theglobaleducationproject.org/egypt/articles/stonetech.php

What did they use for power?

It’s from “Plato Prehistorian”, Settegast got it from a pair of earlier researchers.

And if he made a weapon instead of a bracelet, he’d probably end the day on a Sikh and destroy mission.

Sorry, but it had to be said. ;’)

No thanks. I’ve read claims of that kind before, and they are dumb.

I fixed a multi million dollar surveillance system using a piece of chipped obsidian to splice a cable.

The fracture surface of obsidian is many times sharper than the finest surgical steel. Obsidian surgical blades are now preferred for some types of operations.

An Idaho flint-knapper and amateur archaeologist, Don Crabtree, pioneered the manufacture of obsidian surgical blades. He proved their usefulness by having surgeons use them on himself in a delicate heart operation: Obsidian Scalpel Blades
