I think this statue from Turkey represents an early turkey hunter. I think he was hunting from a blind. You can tell by his eyes that he’s looking at a big gobbler with a 10 inch beard. The position of his hands shows that he was holding an early Lynch turkey call, but of course, the wooden turkey call decayed away long ago. Hey Bubba! This here arkeyology shore is interestin’ stuff!

First: That’s not hair on its head. That’s a helmet of snails, obviously.
Second: The surprised look in its eyes points to it being a training aid for proctologists of that period.
Third: The orange belts around head and trunk point to this being a modern reproduction.
