I recall one of the cable shows revealing that the white powder on ‘Juicy Fruit’ type gum is marble dust. Who knew? I’d thought it was sugar.
I saw the guy writing this constantly complain that though the packaging did say they were ok for vegetarians, that information was not prominently front and center.
I think that is done on purpose, as if I saw something prominently advertising it is good for vegetarians, I would not buy it just out of principle. Just as I will not buy any product advertising itself as “green”. And I think there are a lot more people like me, than there are of them.
IIRC, his choice of home kitchen machine was a German model that sounded like it had a jet turbine powering it.
"The Food Jammers" also built a wind powered mill, but drilling a hole in the roof (in their case) might be a bit much.
