Was that Pacific Standard time?It would have been Pacific Time since Daylight Savings time didn't exist in the US before 1918...thus neither did the concept of Pacific Standard Time.

Daylight Savings time didn’t OFFICIALLY exist in the US before 1918.....Ben Franklin conceived of the idea in 1784 but did not act upon it............New Zealand entomologist George Vernon Hudson in 1895 proposed what is now DST, but his shift was 2 hours instead of one.....Others as well...........
