One legend is true, MacKinnon said: Vomitoriums.

Vomitoriums existed, but they were not what is claimed here. They were simply large cross-passages in amphitheaters (like the Colosseum) that permitted patrons to rapidly exit the arena at a show's completion. A "vomitorium" had nothing to do with purging during a glutton-fest.

One legend is true, MacKinnon said: Vomitoriums. There might be so much food at Piso's table, and everyone would want to indulge. To make room, they would excuse themselves from the table and purge.

Not true. A vomitorium was actually an exit from a stadium, so called because people "spewed forth" from it. People may or may not have purged, but there were no special rooms for it if they did.

One of Michelle's school lunches, she says kids will get used to them.

Something similar may be what brought the Roman Empire down.

I don’t know, but if I ate that I think I’d need the vomitorium.

If you ever go to Vito’s Cave in London, Ontario, try the Lasagna...It’s the best in town.

Mrs. 2ndDivisionVet is an Italian/Pole from Philadelphia, so she cooks. If we go out, though, I especially like Korean and German food.

I’ve never been to Canada, but it looks similar to here in all the shows I see.

It’s not exactly pizza but a flatbread of sorts is described in the Aeneid.
