I don't think so. She can be dismissed from the board for ethics violations but that's about it. The only racial claim that requires verifiable proof is Native American, and that's due to tribal rolls.
There used to be laws on the books that made it a crime to "self identify" as a race you weren't. These Jim Crow-era laws were enforced against light-skinned blacks who were able to "pass" as whites and have pretty much been stricken.
It's uncharted legal waters if she can be criminally charged for fraud by taking something of monetary value like a scholarship by falsely claiming being black. After all, at what point does blackness begin? 50%? 25%? 1/32nd? Are we going to return to the "one drop rule" days?
