I would imagine some other calamity may befall ISIS as a result of claiming credit for this. One thing for sure, Putin's reaction will have a decided retaliatory, punitive flavor, and will result in at least ten times more dead jihadis than Russians.

After it is all over, there will be a “Putin the Terrible”, who will be hard to deal with.
And Trump and Putin got along great when they were on 60 minutes, they are both powerful people, and they know how to take care of things....and I think your going to see that once Trump gets into Office and whimpy is gone...

Maybe he is also sending a message to NATO, Ukraine and the Baltic states. After all the western powers will fold like a cheap tent in a hurricane if they think that Russia would use tactical nukes in eastern Europe.
