I think Christie is an opportunist who smells a Trump victory with or without his endorsement - so this way, he may benefit.
They mocked her speech when they saw it in live time. I never saw so many people turn on that fine woman. Of course, they’ll be out and about accusing us of totalitarian thinking simply because we don’t believe every idiotic attack on our candidate. They use overkill and not in a subtle way, lol!
I think you’re right, Charles. Christie is no fool. Not a great governor by every objective means but no fool.

Christie attended and participated in some of the most sensitive discussions about with political party leadership, and the financiers therein, regarding all operational and organizational plans.
You don’t get it. Cristie was a GOPe mole for Trump. Christie was the ultimate GOPe insider. When Christie endorsed Trump the GOPe knew it had been had. Trump knew and knows the entire GOPe playbook.
This was a brilliant move and shows how stupid the GOPe is.

Trump has less than a 0% chance of carrying New York or New Jersey. Unless he goes full-on liberal and changes those few positions where he differs from Bernie Sanders. Then he might have a shot.

I think we will see lots of Rinos suddenly playing nice as the writing on the wall becomes more clear. The political class is there to enrich themselves and climb the corrupt ladder of Washington DC.
If Trump wins nomination, he is pretty much a sure thing for winning the general. Lots of Rinos will suddenly become best buddies with Trump so they can live to fight another day.
If Cruz wins nomination, the Rinos will sabotage him and help Hillary covertly or even overtly because they know she will easily beat Cruz. They will again, live to fight another day.
