I suggest these snowflakes go into a closet and suck eggs.
“Movies by Steve Martin;”
Don’t forget ‘Planes, Trains, and Automobiles’.
One of my favorite scenes is the bus scene in which the entire bus starts singing the theme from the Flintstones.
Good one!
Back in the day, Knopfler recorded separate US and UK versions of the song (the original version used the word "queenie"), so that audiences on both sides of the Atlantic would understand the lyrics with no cultural question marks. I wonder if the UK radio stations still play that tune, uncensored?
Can you imagine their outrage if they watched Blazing Saddles? Unedited?
THE HORROR!
I point out that if anything the story, which is about a little boy who manages to bribe the tigers not to eat him and then cleverly gets his bribes back, is only not racist but should be praised as not being "Eurocentic".
If it came out now it would be required reading in all schools. Since it is over a hundred years old it must be "bad".
I get triggered by their being considered students.
Bowfinger.
His skits show up on XM comedy greats some. I’ll listen to those.
Guns and Roses....
“Immigrants and fagots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they’ll do as they please
Like start some mini-Iran
Or spread some f*cking disease
And they talk so many God damn ways
It’s all Greek to me”
Herb Tarlek’s wife?
Please don't tell them about that movie. It would be just something else for them to throw on the fire.
And Mel Brooks is still alive. I wonder if a Social Justice Warrior would hunt Brooks down, then pummel him with a bike lock. The Social Justice Warriors are good at that sort of thing.
I remember as a kid earning some extra money so I could go out and buy this album. It was hilarious. I believe I still have it, it’s buried somewhere in storage.
Sucks for these snowflakes to not be able to understand what a great comedy album it is. Political correctness has diseased their minds.
CGato
Surprisingly, no mention of the song ‘Short People’ or ‘I’m Turning Japanese’ in the comments yet.
I think that was her as well, I always loved her, she was also great in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off as Rooney’s Secretary.
Obviously Steve isn’t a religious guy, but I thought this song of his was pretty funny......
You know, religious people have such beautiful music and art;
And athiests really have nothing...
Until now!

Strangely enough, I can spot satirical humor from performers of my parents and grandparents’ generations. I may not always find the material as funny as they did, but I know what it is. These kids are being conditioned to see offenses where none were intended. The social media “hive mind” is part of it too, discouraging any independent thought and evaluation. Are the “Likes” or the “Dislikes” trending?
How about Steve Martin in “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” and “The Man With Two Brains”?
Seems like the South Park episode where Allah was removed started a lot of the madness.
I remember watching it live.
I never laughed so hard in my life!
Most people now wouldn’t understand it, but this was after months and months and months of television commercials, newspapers, magazine ads for the Tutster!!
Alot of people made alot of money on that deal...
Got a dvd of Song of the South from England
