It is, but if you tell him she died. He mourns all over again and then forgets of course. So we just say she’s not here. :(

Actually, that was a pretty rational response. It’s like carrying. You can’t rely on someone getting there in time, so be proactive yourself.
We had funny guards. Used to be Soldiers of Fortune fans. There’s actually a fan magazine for that. They could tell you where every famous one died.

I think so. He reads things on TV. He tells me some good stories. But he can't remember in a rational way. He told me he'd like me to meet his folks. He's 90. Then he talks to the guy in the mirror, but of course it's him. But we laugh and whatever he says I smile at him. He likes to laugh so we do that often.
Then there is the whole thing about catching a buffalo. Pretty sure he's pulling my leg about that. The other day he was moaning and asking for help. I think he fell off a horse in his dream. The saddle hit him in the side.

The night of the election I went to bed. What? How COULD you. I sat through the whole thing. It was wonderful watching the "journalists" mood change over time. Also, I had a hundred bucks riding. Which I WON. Thanks, The Donald.
The after election gloating was GLORIOUS. MAGA hat on my noggin, I pranced around town like I was the prince of the city, collecting stares of awe and smiling knowingly at my crushed enemies and hearing the lamentations of their women. It was a good time to be alive.
I was doing security for a company...
Your gung fu must be adequate.
...over a .22 caliber bullet...
It could have dropped out of an assassin's violin case, or dropped from a Mexican banditos bandalero. One can never be too careful, you know. Keep your head on a swivel.

Those all sound like valid reasons. I wonder if they have to worry about like giga bite space or RAM or whatever.

More likely it fell out of an employees pocket who is actually from here and took his kid target shooting. I never would carry a .22. That’s for plinking!

LOL! My goal is always not to let them get close enough for a .22 to be useful. But it's better than hiding under my desk while we await the police. That was where I worked.
Now where I live, you call the Marshall and the Sheriff to come pick up the remains. Not a chance in Hell they would be at our house in less than 30 minutes. Just to far.

Ya, a .22 requires stealth and surprise, I would reckon. I like a nice shotgun. My aim ain't what it used to be with my ravaged rods and cones. Aim and pull, is my motto. Actually, I'm deadly with a shotgun, as many coke bottle silhouettes can testify.
Paper bad guys have learned to tread lightly when Sheriff Bagster comes around.
