He founded the EDL but left it due to some bad apples. Yes, he spoke at Oxford - this was long after leaving the EDL.
He’s the center of normal people being called “far right” and “racist” when it comes to criticizing Islam. So many articles you may come across - esp. mainstream UK sources - give him a bad rap.

You’re right that it’s 13 months, but (de facto and not de jure) it’s a death sentence. He’s being thrown in with Muslim criminals who have sworn he won’t get out alive.
His book was a Nbr. 1 for months and demand was so high that multiple reprinting had to be done because the Publisher could not keep up with the demand.
I got an E Version and read it in just a few days.

Sounds very third world. I’m not happy with how our trials are insanely lengthy but that does take the cake for a country like Great Britain.
