The fact that McCain supports this pick troubles me the most.

It makes me feel "Comey queasy".

They've been exposed since the 1920's.

Not like this. Trump Trolls the media and forces Dems to Squeal Left so they can't tack to the middle. I've never seen this before in my lifetime.

Strategically, perhaps, as a plan B. I think he does want him, though; and he is a strong soldier. He knows what he is doing and how justices should decide, and “may the truth set him free.”

Amy Barrett isn’t ready enough judicially; nor was she the best one to go into the coluseum at this time.

Looks like that Italian gesture meaning, "Oh, for crying out loud", "get load of this" or "oy vey!"

The fact that McCain says he supports this pick troubles me the most. It might have been his tweet; it might have been Cindy's. He might still be cognizant, he might be comatose, he might be recovering but hiding out from the wrath to come from the swamp being drained. He might support the nominee if there is a clear margin of victory; but if it comes down to only one vote, he might withdraw his vote at the last minute just to stick it to Trump, again. Can't count on the king of all swamp kings.

The court would benefit from a jurist who represents American women who are originalists and pro-life - in my experience, a majority.

Among conservatives, maybe. Sadly, most U.S. women are left-of-center, under- or misinformed and indignantly emotional about it. Especially teachers.

Ruth Buzzi... Now she sits frozen by her lack of clarity and judgment.

Until the DC Establishment can reasonably find itself confirming a Christian believer who went to Hillsdale or Liberty, and don’t hold your breath on that, we are stuck with nominees whose consciences permitted them to stay in indoctrination centers like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to get their degrees.

The only Evangelical ever nominated for the Supreme Court was Harriet Miers.

And, of course, we all know what happened to her.

Borked by both sides.

Great point and oh the irony. If she passes away during a Trump administration the left will NEVER forgive her. They are short on respect and long on momentary resentment turned acid eating poison. Already a big deal Trump leaves with two new Supreme Court selections. But 3? My my. You’re right. Anxious days indeed. ;D

Yeah. What a lesson that was. Bush got fried up big time on that one. So happy for those that DEMANDED a long term, solid, conservative, ruling record as well as intellectual chops.

Leftists got in Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Kagan. All hard-core leftists.

Yet Republicans better not nominate anyone even moderately right or there will be hell to pay.

He's saving the woman for the next slot, when RBG finally gives up the ghost.

"There's panic on the left. Democratic lawyers are scouring the law books to see if Ruth Bader Ginsburg would, by law, be required to step down from the Supreme Court in the event of her death. -- Argus Hamilton"
