I’m 48-48-4 on whether there was a bogus claim made against him, whether he made up the bogus claim (for unknown reasons), or whether there is actually something wrong in his family. Anonymous tips to CPS in NYS are the epitome of “gotcha-ism”.

I DESPISE this piece of garbage, but if someone intentionally LIED and sent child services to his home, then I hate that person even more. Now, if he’s guilty, hang him... I agree with you - but also consider he could be making the phone call up for some unknown reason - he has been known to prevaricate more than once.

They need more than a “tip”, presumably from somebody they don’t know, to start turning somebody’s life upside down. In Texas, any random, anonymous tipster, can turn you in to CPS, and cause you and your family untold amounts of grief.
I know, because it happened to me.
