I know, but that’s exactly the way I remember the original series. Why couldn’t they see how evil Smith was. He always managed to skirt by.
No new ideas.
Might as well watch the old one with the good Darrin.
Honestly so far [3 episodes in] that has been a pretty decent show. I’m suprised. Great visuals.
The original was campy as heck.
Meh.
Honestly how many people under 37 even watched the original? Revising history may be a bit strong.
If it sucks it will be as forgotton as that Ghostbusters reboot.
... only his hairdresser knows for sure ...
And it makes the white folks look like retrograde idiots, despite reality.
It won’t get past the pilot I bet.
They are doing all of this for each other. Maybe NFL players will watch. :)
who played the role best?
Dick Sargent?
Dick York?
or Sergeant York?
The first Darren was not gay.
well the cast, directors, producers, and writers should all have inter-racial spouses IRL as well (In Real Life).
Otherwise it is appropriation and exploitation.
Werent the neighbors on The Jeffersons TVs first interracial couple?
Probably because he was more annoying.
If "crazy idiot exasperated husband" was the role, he played it better.
Dick Sargent was smoother but blander.
Why not a LBGTWXYZwhatever family?
What about two giant breasts living together?
No, wait, howz about a belly button (fuzzy one) and a straight belly button as the witch?
Hollywood is about as creative as the Dimbulbcrat Party.
Oh, forgot......
I agree
Hey look! More cultural appropriation from the a**holes who always complain about cultural appropriation!
And gayer.
I quit the Netflix Lost in Space about 5 minutes into the first episode. Then I read various comments in similar threads, so I went back and watched the entire series.
It was actually pretty good.
I never cared for the show at all.
The Jeffersons was a good sitcom.
