Do it to enough people, and you would see unprecedented nationwide terrorism. If someone really wants to starve you to death in that manner, they will just as soon kill you off Holocaust Style. At that point, people for gun control would see real open season terrorism against them ranging from shooting people to arson .

More to the point, military construction is an emergency power granted under the National Emergencies Act and other statutes. Gun control is not.

Which is a dumb idea considering that most people will gladly murder someone and eat human flesh rather than starve to death. You will literally see many, many, parents walk into the Pharmacies and put a gun to the pharmacist’s heads and knives to their throats and demand them to disobey the evil government. At that point, when you are a doctor air a pharmacist asked to save a child’s life, the overwhelming majority would comply in that situation. You don’t understand the kind of desperation that pushing thousands of people with the threat of starvation would do.
