Michelle Robinson Obama is "connected," and was in many ways a child of privilege (though that notion would no doubt be screeched down by the left and the race industry). Those who have had the (bad) luck to disagree with her when she is in haughty mode know just how special she considers herself.
Despite their insistence on claiming the titles of the party of the little man, the masses, working families, joe six pack, the poor, etc, Democrats tend to stratify into dynastic leadership pretty quickly. If it weren't for radicals that the machine groom as special political weapons (i.e., people like Obama), the Democrat chunks at the top of the septic tank would be about as egalitarian as pre-1914 European royalty and their courtiers.
