My position is that a heavily biased source will either outright lie and make stuff up from whole cloth, or twist, cherry pick, use innuendo to make even “facts” appear very different.
I figure life is short, attention span isn’t infinite, and every rising and setting of the sun means one less day on the planet. So, I don’t read sources that are not trustworthy. Nothing to do with agree/disagree alough the more trustworthy a source is, the more likely I am to agree.
Sounds as though your liberal friends want you to be influenced by their propaganda. Because liberalism is propaganda. The truth about the leftist ideology is not very pretty so it has to be gussied up with fakery and lies.

Thanks, christian. Someone told me, over fifty years ago, that we’re influenced by the people with whom we come in contact. It’s why our parents cared about the people with whom we hung out. Since it’s important to me to try to be a good person, I try to stay near the people who will help me be better, regardless of whether we share core beliefs or not. There’s so many on FR, and more particularly on the Q thread, that I so deeply respect and care about and I look to them to help me with that quest. And I hope that I can help them, when I can. (I’m always open to doing newspaper archive searches for people’s genealogy.) I’m joyful that people are passionate about their beliefs. I am, and I love that you are, too. I absolutely can love the fact that you’re a conservative Christian. I’m a conservative, and we have common ground there.
Not all, but most of the homosexual men I’ve met were chicken hawks.

>>Thomas Jefferson
I have no idea if anyone has any interest in it, but I collect original newspapers from the 1700s and 1800s, so I have quite a few with articles signed George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and such. If there’s an interest, I could put some scans up into my website. I got into collecting because back when I was trying to find the poetry by Henry Livingston, NY State used to send me newspaper microfilms and husband got me a huge microfilm reader that would scan into the computer. From early morning to late at night, for one whole year, I lived in a time when George Washington was spoken of in the present tense. Now I just read the newspaper archives to which I subscribe.
I’m so very sorry. I’ve had much better luck in friends.
That would be wonderful.
I don’t see why you should be sorry.
He was exercising his right as a Fed LE to carry. Not the same thing as above. He was in Cali after all.

Here’s two papers on Alexander Hamilton’s death that are already on my site. They belong to my cousin.
