That “global city” crap is why we’ve met so many people who’ve escaped Nashville to come to the Knoxville area. It’s becoming lunatic left with unmanageable congestion, so they say.
I think John Cooper has a better chance. No Republican, but less nuts than Briley or Berry
If it’s Cooper vs. Clemmons or Briley in the runoff, I’ll reluctantly vote for him. But I’m voting for Prof. Swain again in the first round and runoff, if she makes it. If it ends up a runoff between Clemmons and Briley, I’ll have to think hard whether it’s worth voting at all. Clemmons is, of course, the absolute worst. He has no power and hope for any serving in the state legislature, one reason he’d like to be Mayor.

I avoid Nashville. I live in Lebanon, about 25 miles east of Nashville, and if it’s not available locally, I can get it online. My wife and I have talked about building a house in Warren County on the farm she inherited from he parents. Maybe we will when we retire.
