I don’t know if it’s ok in Texas, but I would drive to a rural county DMV and get my license renewed there................
Here in Charlotte County Florida, I do mine online. It takes 2 days to get all 6 registrations in the mail. I once waited almost 15 minutes when I had to get my picture taken for my driver’s license.
She should have just yelled IMMIGRATION!
One of the few good things California did was setup an appointment system. When I came to Texas I had to wait in a 4 hour line to get my 1st license.
I asked about something like an appointment system and the lady at the windows said “hun, we don’t do them big city things here.”
Although we’ve all likely fantasized about it at one time or another...no you should definitely not actually do it....
Probably not her finest hour.
You withdraw a gun in a public place?
You had better have a damned good reason for doing so, because if you don’t, I am going to assume you are a terrorist or an idiot (assuming there is a difference!) and I am going to withdraw MY weapon (legally permitted) and end your life.
Then your idiot attempts to “make a statement” about slow moving DMV clerks will have a tragic end, won’t they?
Guns are not toys, people. I believe strongly in the right of every American to have and carry one. They are also deadly instruments and the ONLY reason you ever pull one is to end another life.
Learn that lesson, or let Darwin teach it to you. Makes no difference to me.
She should just wait until the government takes over health care! Stand back!
Wonder if she realizes that the DMV is just a training office for the new health care workers?
“Woman Fires Gun at DMV Because The Line Was Moving Too Slowly”
So?
“That was a classic scene in that movie - especially the part when he accidentally discharges the gun into the ceiling and starts apologizing for it.”
my fav scene is when the little kid shows him how to use the bazooka, which he then fires and the rocket goes down a trench covered by steel plates and blows up and excavator at the end of the trench ...
Ours, too. But sometimes it’s an hour or more wait. There’s a town about a 15 minute drive away. Never seen more than one other person in there. A friend said he went there one time and he was the only one there, with two smiling people behind the counter, waiting to help. What kind of way is that to run a State office?
Next time she should make an Appointment.
I guess she didn’t think that all the Cars in the Parking Lot might indicate that the DMV was busy.
Your government on socialism. And what’s awful about it is that it’s the same on the other side of the counter.
There is no such place as Kansas City, Kansas. Its a myth.
-Rush Limbaugh.
Just wait til we have Medicare for All and no private insurance.
No wonder the same sleaze that wants to force Medicare for All on us want to confiscate our firearms!
If you like the DMV, you’ll love the new Government Healthcare...
Part of me sides with her. ;)
Yes, the part of my that wonders why they have long lines and no supervisor, but hey have time to follow her out to the parking lot and get her license number.
I honestly think that many of these passive-aggressive bureaucrats go to work each morning hoping to get a rise out of as many people as possible.
Rush is wrong. It’s about one quarter the size of KC MO, just across the river.
(I live in the area)
ICE!....................used to be INS!..............
It’s the part of me that says the proof that our highway designers and representatives don’t care how much we suffer is that there are HOV lanes. HOV lanes only matter if the roads are not designed to handle the quantity of traffic they are supposed to serve.
It’s one reason I moved from Seattle to Kentucky. There are no HOV lanes here and none are needed.
