A Game & Fish employee lives right across the road from the Rim and in the Spring he puts tons of bird seed out in his front yard, the flocks of turkeys are wild.
Sometimes I can't even count how many there are.
Our friend stopped to look, opened his jeep door, got out and a turkey jumped in and demanded a ride. LOL
And they all have to cross the road and as far as I know not one has ever been hit but we all stop and wait then go really slow.

We had a dead tree that they roosted in behind the house. At first we thought they were turkey vulture. They often roost in trees. But after observation with our field glasses and listening to them dad was excited to identify them as “Thanksgiving Dinner”. So much joyful memories connected with his bird watching.
I’m behaving. Stuck in passenger seat and can’t cause too much trouble.....
