I find it very hard to believe that Apple, or Nike has NO IDEA what the hell is going on over there!!!
Not a chance. Lefties aare beginning to complain about the Hitlerian tactics of not allowing free travel for exposed people. The Left attitudes are automatically propagated by the Press and the college professors who can see the goal of depopulation as a possibility, thinking that they, of course, being the anoiintedof History , will be exempt.
Those huge companies have mostly shut down for the Duration. The Americans involved probably have little more verifiable information than the government output. Such a disease must be far more serious in China than in the West. China has hygiene practices that the West does not have that spread such things pretty fast.

I am sure they were used elsewhere against political opponents and are being used still with the cover of the Coronavirus.

This was a great post of the state of the minds of the CCP. If anyone here thinks they wont sacrifice large numbers of people to survive they are simply ignorant. China is ruled by one of if not the most ruthless regimes in modern history. The West continues to do business with them.
