I'll second that for Mrs. RWA! What a miserable thing to have.
Please God, let this work
They got checked out of the hospital, and are self-isolating at a friend’s house, no doubt a nice place to take a 2-week vacation.
Most people I read about who say they got this are getting mild cases and other than needing a 2+ week isolation, it doesn’t seem that bad for them.
My fear is that we are doing a good job of isolating, but that just means more people get it later.
My bigger fear is that, for people who have no symptoms, their bodies don’t fight the infection, and so it remains. Imagine a million people out there with no symptoms, but who have the virus and can spread it. That might eventually be the case, the entire world carrying around a virus, except for the people who die from it, and the people who actually got sick and their bodies attack and kill it, and the people who eventually get vaccinated.
Pay for it in toilet paper.
I just read a story about a malaria pill chloroquine phosphate, which was clinically tested in China and had good results. There is now a major trial underway.
The good things about this pill: First, it is already approved, so if it works, it can be fielded immediately. we just ened to figure out if it works, and at what dose.
Second, it costs about 5 cents a pill.
used or new?
