The nub of the argument isn't really whether RR is derp or non derp or whether he wears a hat at all. It is whether Trump set up the Mueller Special Council operation or it was a direct derp attack on him.
The white hat theory says that RR (and Mueller) were secretly working at Trump's behest and it all was somehow beneficial to him and his swamp draining agenda.
Hat color is just a piece of that theory.
I don't believe we can cede the field to those who espouse that theory, lest people think we ALL adhere to it. Its why I speak against it and always have. Its one thing to have it be debated, but to have it taken as official FReeQ (Q) policy is another. I find that unacceptable and embarrassing. I won't be tagged with that abomination.
And so I fight.
It happened at a nursing home in MI - while all the RATs there care about is wearing masks, shutting things down and extending the lockdowns and ignored the dam until it burst (or they burst it). THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK!
