Here's one you may like. It is a firehose of headlines, but it has some of the "down-the-page" headlines that Drudge posts. Some off-the-wall items. Just the News is really good. John Solomon and his contributors are top-notch. Even the weekly podcasts are good!
Drudge is an emotional homosexual who has hired at least one Never Trumper editor. He seemed to first turn on Trump when he started to attack homos in the military. It’s been almost all down hill into what is now a hysterical Drudge sewer.
How many times do we have to kick this dead horse?
There are Never Trumpers who’ve had their conservative inc. grifting careers ruined by Trump. It’s easy to understand their hatred, but Drudge was an early Trump backer and supported his entire agenda, which makes his rather sudden anti-Trump bent highly unusual.
Rasmussen said that he sold it and was under an NDA. Some leftist rag reporter drove to his house and asked him about the sudden change saying something cagey to the effect that his Trump boosting was “several years ago”.
So, the sale/NDA option could be a possibility. It could also be that he’s always just been a political hack who is opportunistically whoring himself out for whatever he thinks will get him the most controversy clicks, which appears to have backfired btw. Either way, he’s a dirtbag who doesn’t deserve the time of day.
Once in a while I go to drudge but I come away from it depressed and sick feeling. I long ago removed the link so I wouldn’t be tempted because drudge used to be my go to news site.

Well if 90% of the press coverage is negative..Drudge will be 90% negative..
Drudge is not as important as it was when he first started..

Like I said, if the other sites had decent links then Drudge would be a non-entity to me. Likewise, if Drudge starts removing those links then it will be dead in an instant.
I think of Carter as the last push back of the Democrats that existed before the McGovernites swept into the functions of the DNC. He simply couldn’t trust his own party and as for the times, they would have happened no matter who was in charge (the 70s broadly represented a time when investment couldn’t in our industrial base that had survived growing government gobbling up available credit finally had to upgrade or die).
When Carter, in isolation as much as that put him, couldn’t push back against the McGovernites a big enough chunk of the Democrats broke off to support Reagan while too many of the rest, in staying, began their gradual slide, slouching compromise by compromise with their ever farther Left “friends” till at last nothing remains of the old extreme Left that is extreme to them anymore.
In fact, the modern DNC is exactly the sort of people HUAC was wisely and correctly trying to root out. When they can think Clinton is right of center their definitions of right to left are self serving tripe.

LBJ loved LBJ, nothing more and nothing less. Like the Clintons he too had his body count but was so corrupt he didn’t always try to hide it ... such as when his hit man killed a guy on a golf course in front of witnesses in Texas ... in freaking Texas where we have and use the death penalty (especially back then) ... but got off with a slap on the wrist after LBJ called the judge.
