To this day, chicken is often used as a bartering tool or a form of currency. I know a plumber who got paid last week both in money and one rotisserie roasted chicken by a satisfied client. He wasn’t complaining.

I saw a cartoon with a chicken and an egg in bed together, smoking cigarettes, and one turns to the other and says “Well, I guess we settled that question”.

Recent history: Instead of turkeys for celebratory occasions, Brazilians use a large chicken known as Chester or a Chester. According to m son #3, who married a Brazilian, someone from Brazil roamed the US to find the largest chicken he could. Took it to Brazil and it became Chester.
I just want to assure everyone that I did *not* start the "Respect Chickens Day" keyword, although, I've gotta say, I do admire the free range attitude its existence implies!

Obviously Chickens who lay White Eggs are Racists.
To: Kickass Conservative
It's harder to lay an egg than to mate with a mermaid.

Plumbers in Ireland are usually paid in barter, but that's because the pipes, the pipes are calling.

Presumably because American chickens have been bred for particularly large breasts.

Danny Boy is a very hard song to sing properly for the average person.
There are several octave changes.
Johnny Mathis or Joan Baez could have done it back in their day.

When it's time to eat, add in "Attack of the Mushroom People" and probably some broc and a beverage.

I've always been suspicious of a song title pronounced "derriere".
