Based on training I had, those real small devices don’t give off radiation. Just a big boom. I do know 100% that it was a munition.

There would be no EMP from a small nuke, which in any case only lasts for a very brief time. But if it were a nuke, a standard radiation meter (geiger counter) would light up anywhere in Beirut for months and years.
