What a Doofus. Glad he wasn’t hurt, though.
So far Bear Season has brought 2 bear swats for two of my dogs (no stitches needed, just a day or two of rest) and four other dogs (one was mine) tangled with a Porcupine!
Two they were able to have the quills pulled by the crew, (one of those was mine) and the other two had so many they needed a trip to the vet for sedation, pulling and a few stitches.
Nature WILL get you, one way or another!
That’s why you pack!
Pretty intense. Another example given to pack in the wild.
True, but make sure your companion can't run as fast as you can.
That brings new meaning to the phrase Pant load.
Wow, I just watched the whole video. I cannot believe how long that puma tracked him and the large number of bluff charges. That is scary as can be.
Last week 4 coyotes came out of the woods and were just looking at me on Tuesday night.
I had my pistol but it was still spooky.
Had been hearing them yipping but for the last 2 weeks they've been howling like wolves, making a helluva racket.
They'll do that when the pack seperates to hunt or signal to another pack.
Sat on the back porch Wed night and popped a young, 40 lb male and a 50 lb female on Thurs.
Haven't heard a peep from them since.
